Gratitude: Learn how to develop this Positive Power

THE AWAKENING OF GRATITUDE

LEARNING HOW TO CONNECT WITH YOURSELF, WITH OTHERS, WITH LIFE

Many of the personal problems we experience today come from our belief that we can see and understand things as they really are. However, without the proper development of a genuine sense of gratitude and harmony, we are unable to have true access to the reality of ourselves, of our daily lives, or to be able to truly connect with others.

A true sense of gratitude enables us to develop and strengthen a deep and lasting inner well-being. This state of well-being comes from a new and more profound view of our selves and of the world around us.

Developments in neuroscience have enabled us to see clearly how gratitude, and the intention to experience gratitude, stimulates the production of serotonin and dopamine in the brain. In this way, learning how to live with a sense of gratitude helps to protect us from anxiety, depression, bitterness, anger, resentment against the world, and a sense of dissatisfaction with life in general. Learning how to feel gratitude enables us to reconcile ourselves truly and deeply with life.

A dear friend of mine has developed a powerful workshop for us to learn how to develop and benefit from our deep and personal gratitude.  During this workshop you will practise exercises and be given information, particularly through tales and history from the East, which will enable you to feel, develop your capacity to live with, and maintain a state of gratitude. By attending this workshop you will learn how to:

  • Make a positive rediscovery of your daily life and the people in it
  • Lower your emotional tensions (anxiety, depression, anger etc.)
  • Reduce your negative thinking (complaints, dissatisfaction, nagging worries, feeling distracted)
  • Orientate your unconscious thinking towards positivityWHEN : Saturday, April 9th 2016, 1.30 p.m. startWHERE : St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation and Peace, 78 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AG

Course fee: £40 payable on the door. Please contact Jefferson Cann (Jefferson@xleadership.com) or Andrew Kean (akean@talktalk.net) to book a place.
