Triggers [Worksheet]

Please download read the attached sheet ‘Active Presence and Absence and complete the worksheet “Triggers“.
 
  • On the left-hand side, write down, below the line, all those events and behaviours of yourself and others that trigger negative feelings/reactions in you.
  • On the right-hand side, below the line, right down all those events/behaviours of yourself and others that trigger positive feelings/reactions in you.
  • Then, above the line, write down all those events/behaviours of yourself and others that initiate the state of active presence, of ‘Flow’ or ‘Being in the Zone’ for you, or that give you a route of access to this state.
  • Review your writings. What does this tell you? What can you learn from this? What can you do to promote positive feelings and the ‘Flow’ state and to reduce negative feelings and reactions?
