• Emotional Intelligence (EI) is developed relative to your social context – what is emotionally intelligent in Western Europe may not be so in Saudi Arabia or China …
• These worksheets cover the 16 key elements of EI.
• Please mark yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 for each element (and the constituent elements for ‘Relationship Management’) relative to how you think other people score on each one (e.g. would you score yourself higher or lower on that parameter than other people). 1 is extremely lower than other people; 5 to 6 is much the same as other people; 7 to 10 is higher than other people.
  
  

Conversational Intelligence Dashboard

• Think back over the important conversations you have had over the past two weeks. In those conversations, were you:
• Trying to tell people what to do and not really wanting a challenge or questions?
• Were you having a very energised conversation that you were trying to ‘win’ by convincing the other person that your argument was best?
• Did you really listen to and ask questions of the other person in order to develop your understanding and come to a mutual conclusion?
• Indicate each conversation in its appropriate place on the ‘dashboard’.
